BOARD BIOGRAHIES

Dr. Scott Parrish first became involved with ILASS in 1997 as a graduate student and was elected to the ILASS-Americas board in 2008. He has co-chaired the ILASS Diesel and Automotive Technical Committee since 2003 and is also a past awards chair. Upon his first experience with ILASS, he realized that the ILASS organization offered the ideal forum to interact with other professionals with interests in atomization and sprays.

Scott is a staff research engineer for General Motors Research and Development located in Warren Michigan. He earned his Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin – Madison Engine Research Center. His expertise is in the application and development of optical diagnostics applied to fuel spray characterization and mixture preparation. He is responsible for all aspects of experimental fuel spray research of interest to General Motors.
