SPONSOR INFORMATION

ILASS – Americas
Institute for Liquid Atomization and Spray Systems – North and South America

Dear Prospective ICLASS-2009 Sponsor:

The 2009 ICLASS (11th International Conference on Liquid Atomization and Spray Systems) conference will be held July 26 through 30, 2009 at the Vail Marriott Mountain Spa and Resort in Vail, Colorado.  The conference is expected to draw approximately 300 delegates: industry representatives and research professionals from Asia, Europe, Canada, and the United States (see www.ilass.org/iclass2009/ for more information). On behalf of the ILASS-Americas Board of Directors, we would like to invite your company’s sponsorship of this unique professional meeting.  We also encourage you to send delegates, as well as to consider submitting abstracts for next year’s meeting and/or becoming an exhibitor.

As you know, liquid atomization and spray systems display complex behavior that is generally neither easy to describe, nor model.  Atomization and spray processes enable our industries to provide many important products to the global marketplace.  Papers are presented that attract academic and industrial delegates with interests ranging from medical therapeutic inhalation methods, consumer spray products, gas turbine, rocket, automotive and industrial spray combustion, to paper pulp liquor atomization.  Exhibitors display their relevant products and services, and tutorials are given by experts.  The ICLASS community serves to bring together this diverse community and leverage each delegate’s perspective to aid each and everyone’s professional interest area.

In today’s highly competitive world, we believe that the ICLASS conference is more important than ever.  And we know that leadership in technically challenging fields makes industries more profitable.  For these reasons, we ask that your company consider sponsoring the conference.  Unlike previous years we would like to give you a larger range of sponsorship opportunities from sponsoring an invited speaker, helping offset the cost associated with reduced student conference fees, meals or breaks. In fact, if you have a specific idea for sponsorship that better fits the funding interests of your company please feel free to contact us.

We are asking that a minimum level of sponsorship be at the USD$2000 level*. If you would like to take advantage of this opportunity, please do not hesitate to contact either one of us to discuss it.

Sincerely,

Michael Benjamin
